Marcus Georges-Hunt sealed the 71-69 upset win for Georgia Tech in Coral Gables with a tip-in of his own shot at the buzzer. With the game tied at 69 points, Robert Carter Jr. stole a pass with about 30 seconds remaining. MGH took charge of the ball with about 10 seconds left, his drive to the lane from the left wing rimmed out...but he tipped in his miss with under a second remaining...and the click ran out giving Tech the win.
Chris Bolden led Tech with 21 points, followed by Daniel Miller's 17 (hitting shots as far away as about 12-15 feet). Though MGH only had 4 points (including the game-winner), he played an important role contributing 6 assists and 6 rebounds as well for the Jackets.
