Technical Tidbits 03/06/2013: In Which the Cat Catches the Dwag

Today's tidbits cover injuries, media money for a dying brand, and radical shifts in the media mindset.

Tech's baseball players are bilingual. Are yours?

Translation: "Octavio Dotel is 40 years old and will still play for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic. #passion."

Pittsburgh, if it wasn't troubled enough already, will be without two starters indefinitely before the season even starts. Something tells me the Panther's "Welcome to the ACC" party is going to be crashed by a bunch of drunk idiots who start swinging from the chandeliers and then beat them 55-3.

The football-playing Big East, or what remains of it at any rate, will get $110 million for letting the Catholic Seven use the name "Big East" and MSG as the location for their conference tournament. Good for them, at least they're not getting 100% screwed by this realignment mess.

Here's another baseball score from last night that we're pretty sure you'll be a fan of. I want to give a big shout out to whoever wrote that headline, you can never get enough "muzzling" around these parts!

T.J. Barnes is clearly the next Michael Vick in terms of football: small, mobile agile QB ready to take on the world. He doesn't have that whole off the field issue, either, so draft away NFL!

Is the media tide finally starting to turn for our poor conference?

JUST KIDDING! If you click on the tweet, you'll see that no, this will never be true, no matter how hard fans of the Techs try to will it on the world.
