The Detail: Yes...Marcus Allen. Not that Marcus Allen, or even this Marcus Allen (the one that plays for GT). He's a safety prospect from outside the Washington, D.C. area with a protoypical safety build, great ball skills and athleticism, and a player who tackles with purpose. Though not ranked with Rivals, Allen has amassed a 4-star rating (#23 Safety nationally) by Scout. He's been offered by several high-profile schools.

Tech's Chances: It's possible. Allen has said good things about Tech's coaching staff, the school, and the city of Atlanta. He's looking to visit sometime this Spring, and we'll keep tabs on how his visit goes. Perhaps he might run into a current Tech player named...well you know :)
