Georgia Tech picked up Football commit #2 today, getting a verbal commitment from Tre Jackson of powerhouse Lowndes County HS in Valdosta, GA. Read on to find out more about this LB prospect...
Recruit: Tre Jackson
High School: Lowndes County High School, Valdosta, GA
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 220
Position: MLB (could also play BB)
Recruiter: Andy McCollum
The Detail: Tre Jackson is a rugged, athletic LB prospect from Lowndes County HS, a traditional powerhouse program from south Georgia that Tech hasn't had much luck in recruiting recently...until now. Though he has the ability to play either B-Back or LB in college...Georgia Tech has signed him to play MLB in the 4-3 scheme. He's short, but a thumper in the mold of a Julian Burnett or Rennie Curran (those are the comps I've heard).
What do you think of commit #2 for Tech football?
