Tom Petty said it best...time to move on (The Wildflowers album was always one of my favorites)
Instead of wondering about the season that might have been, the coaches we should have fired, the players we should have played...it's time we look ahead and live in the NOW.
It is without a doubt going to take the best performance of the year to take a victory in Death Valley. It is the responsibility of CPJ to get our guys ready mentally, as there is still a bunch of great things to play for this season. We know what challenges Clemson presents, especially on offense, and 4-1 in the last 5 means nothing right now.
Take some solace in the hope that we've come nowhere close to a solid performance in all facets, and have the capacity of such explosiveness. The next few weeks will show you what kind of coaches, players, and leaders we have...and I, for one, thinks we are going to be pleasantly surprised (whether the scoreboard reflects it or not).
What do you fans think? What kind of response do you expect from the Jackets?
