Middle Tennessee Lacks Drive Stamina

The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders lack drive stamina. What is drive stamina? Drive stamina is the willpower to start a drive on your side of the 50-yard line and to finish by scoring. Call it long drive ADD.  Last week against Purdue, MTSU received the ball 12 times in their own territory. They scored only twice, missed two field goals, and threw an interception.

Last Saturday, the Georgia Tech defense demonstrated great willpower against any and all distractions. Western Carolina started 11 drives in their territory and scored only one touchdown.

It's clear that it's best to keep the opponent on the far side of the 50 the entire game. When you do that you win (duh). Let the Blue Raiders start on their side of the 50 and try to push into Tech territory and they'll falter on their own.
