2010 ACC Out of Conference Update

Decade by Decade breakdown of Out of Conference Winning Percentages!
Decade by Decade breakdown of Out of Conference Winning Percentages!
Well, we had a rough start to the 2010's decade. The conference finished 9-16 against BCS-conference opponents in 2010. The Big 10, the Pac 10, the Big 12, and Notre Dame finished unscathed against the ACC with a smooth 9-0 record against ACC opponents. The Big East was our only true victim falling in 5 of 8 out of conference match ups. Surprisingly, the ACC finished with a 4-4 record against the mega-GOD-fearing-super-duper-pooper conference a.k.a. the SEC. Please note that a .500 record against the SEC would be our best decade against the SEC ever.

The next chart shows a decade by decade scheduling tendency of the ACC. It appears as if the ACC has assimilated its primary out of conference opponents as time has progressed. I added future conference members to really illustrate this point.
