Clemson Tigers 87 Georgia Tech 62. What Else To Say Other Than Embarrassing

Maybe the Georgia Tech basketball team was still in "snow day fun day" mode..

The game was on from beginning to end at my house, though towards the end I just blatantly ignored the idea that this was actually basketball.  The halftime score was 34-33 off a last second layup Clemson put up to go ahead at the intermission and it was the closest Georgia Tech ever got to the lead again. Tech shot 40% from the field last night while Clemson shot a whopping 69%. The Tigers went 9-9 from three-point range in the second half (they had a total of 11 in the game, a season-high) and completely caught fire as they absolutely buried the Jackets.

Mfon Udofia led the Yellow Jackets with 14 points off the bench. He alone was the one "shining star" of the night as nothing came together.

Clemson moves to 13-4 overall and 2-1 in the ACC while Georgia Tech continues to plummet to the bottom as they are now 7-8 and 0-2 in the ACC. Up next for both teams are the North Carolina Tarheels.
