We've seen this movie before...Game 7 forced for tonight

Brandon Cumpton, the ACC's winningest pitcher this year, couldn't get out of the 2nd inning and the roles were reversed last night as Alabama beat Georgia Tech 8-1.

We've been here before. 2008 in Athens, 2009 in Atlanta, etc, etc. Georgia Tech was completely neutralized by another left handed pitcher in Adam Morgan. The Alabama pitcher went the distance last night: 9 IP, 5 hits, 9 K's and only 1 earned run. You can't expect to win when you let someone throw a gem like that against you. Really, the Tide played a great game all around. The bats were solid, even ground and fly balls were hit hard.

Today is Game 7, the last game in the Atlanta Regional. Tech will be the home team and I still believe we have the advantage today unlike in the previous, similar years because our pitching depth is competent. Alabama, on the other hand, can't have much left, though Morgan's complete game helped the bullpen for sure. Jed Bradley will get the start for Georgia Tech.
