In one of the most disappointing weekends so far this season, the Virginia Cavaliers beat Georgia Tech in 2 of 3 games, 7-4, and 9-1. The Jackets won the Saturday match 7-4. Adding insult to injury, Deck McGuire was handed his second loss of the season as well.
The Jackets fall to 27-5 overall and 12-3 in the ACC while the Hoos go to 27-7 overall and 10-5 in the ACC. I wouldn't be surprised to see Virginia in the Top 2 in some poll this week. Fortunately, we do not give up our perch in first place of the Coastal Division.
Current ACC Standings: As you see, Miami sits at 2nd in the division. The Hurricanes will come into Atlanta in mid-May for a possible Coastal Division winner-take-all showdown.

The Jackets face a road test against georgie on Tuesday Wednesday in Athens. The game will be televised on CSS and is scheduled to start at 6:30pm 7pm. Anybody planning on going from our end?
This upcoming weekend will be a big one. First, the Clemson Tigers come to town for a big weekend series. Secondly, Ted finds his way back to Atlanta for the weekend to catch up on some Georgia Tech happenings (St. Louis is boring I guess). Expect to see some anti-Jacket Leggett talk on here as we get closer to Friday. Ted HATES JACK LEGGETT. But then again, not many Tech fans should like him either. I strongly encourage all of you to check out the game this weekend as the Clemson series never disappoints.
