Dawg Sports puts John Isner's epic Wimbledon epic in the context of history, and not just UGA sports history. A fantastic piece -- let's just say the world has waited far too long for someone to use General Sherman's march to explore the meaning of a tennis match.

I am much obliged to Jason Kirk for the foregoing nod. Be sure to keep up with the local sports scene at SB Nation Atlanta, but be careful when voting in the poll to the left. Today, the Gators have a chance to bring another championship to Gainesville as they play powerhouse Stanford at 2pm in Athens, Ga.
