Thursday around lunch time, it was first reported by Georgia Tech's Rivals.com writer Kelly Quinlan that prized Georgia Tech B-Back commit, 3-star running back Mikell Lands-Davis, was arrested and charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
#GaTech B-back commit Mikell Lands-Davis was charged with possession of marijuana around noon today. Misdemeanor less than 1oz. Bailed out

As suggested by the tweet, Lands-Davis was released 4 hours later on $1,000 bond. As for his scholarship offer, this incident is unlikely to affect his standing with Georgia Tech, and assuming no other issues going forward, Lands-Davis is still expected to play for the Yellow Jackets. Lands-Davis has been committed to Georgia Tech for nearly two months, and committed over his other finalists, North Carolina and N.C. State. He is currently the #49 overall prospect in Georgia for the class of 2015 per Rivals.
Is this concerning to you? Is it just a minor blip on the radar?
