Baseball: Kel Johnson Sidelined Indefinitely with Sprained Ankle

6

True freshman 1B/OF Kel Johnson sprained his ankle in Saturday's game against North Carolina and will be out indefinitely as he rehabs it. Initially, the injury looked bad, and some speculated that his ankle may have been broken. X-rays were negative though, and Johnson should be back well before season's end. Johnson leads the team in batting average (.379) and home runs (7), and is tied with A.J. Murray for the team lead in RBI's (25).
