It turns out that when Tech football players transfer they seek out established pathways. Iowa Western Community College not only picked up a Tech player, they also have a former UGA linebacker and a safety from Ohio State.
Meanwhile, in case you were wondering, Custis will be headed to Hutchinson Community College where he will join a loaded backfield of Alvin Kamara, former University of Alabama player, as well as Braden Smith.
Apparently, it is not just at Tech that star athletes struggle in the classroom. The goal for most of these players is to be ready to play on the major college level no later than December 2015.
