The Detail: Jesse Aniebonam is a 4-star and Rivals 250 ranked DE prospect from Good Counsel in Maryland, the school that brought us Louis Young and a member of the catholic league in the D.C. area that has netted Georgia Tech five signees in the last three years. Aniebonam is an athletic and toolsy 6'4" athlete that projects to play either WDE ("rush" end) or Sam LB (strong side LB).
Tech's Chances: Not Likely. Aniebonam has recently named a list of five favorites including Notre Dame, Michigan, Clemson, Ohio State, and Maryland...though its not a final five. However, this league is important for Tech's long-term recruiting strategy, and getting Aniebonam in for a visit during Spring or Summer would help build Tech's credibility even more.
