Game 2 is already here, as the Jackets take on the FCS Blue Hose of Presbyterian College on The Flats at Saturday 7:00 PM. Ken Sugiura of the AJC wrote up a brief preview of our opponent, you can read here. As for me, I'll keep it light.

Some fun facts about Presbyterian College...

A private liberal arts college located in Clinton, SC (between Greenville and Columbia) with about 1,300 students and an endowment of about $100MM. About 43% of students are involved in Greek life (sounds high, no?).

They participate in the Big South Conference in FCS (which also includes Coastal Carolina, VMI, and Charleston Southern among other teams) and have since 2007. They have produced 1 NFL player, Justin Bethel of the Arizona Cardinals.

Every year they compete with rival Newberry College for "The Bronze Derby"...which is pretty sweet...looks like a wearable trophy.

I hope Tech is ready to come back home to BDS@HGF and regain a little swagger and timing and regroup for the rest of the season. Oh yeah, and look for the return of white jerseys, gold pants, and some nested fun!
