BlogPoll Week 5 Results

Some serious BlogPoll BlogTrolls this week, as 7 different teams get first-place votes.

Could the Oregon Duck be the BlogTroll? He does do some pretty crazy things at times...

I sorta like this poll, as it promotes chaos and throws a giant middle finger at conventional wisdom. 7 teams getting first place votes is far from normal, and I think there may have been a little conspiring going on that made this happen....

Either way, here are the Week 5 results. If you want some insight on the voters, check out this article back at the mothership.

One interesting thing to watch, in my opinion, will be how Rutgers and Louisville progress through the poll in the coming weeks. Louisville was the preseason favorite in the Big East and will likely continue that trend, but ends up having a tougher OOC schedule (Kentucky, UNC, Southern Miss, FIU) than does Rutgers (Arkansas, Tulane, Army, Kent St) -- not that either is much of a murderer's row, but still. I'm interested to watch how these two interact in the polls, and then who wins the Big East and makes a BCS Bowl at season's end.

Also, Ohio continues to hold down the fort at #25. Am I missing a joke here or something?

Who are you watching or expecting to make a move in the polls as the season progresses?
