Georgia Tech - Miami Drive Chart

Danny Karnik/Georgia Tech Athletics

The Drive Chart from Saturday's game is an interesting visualization of the two-sided nature of the game that was played.

One of the things most fans seemed to notice after the loss to Miami this weekend was how it was as if we played 3 different games, with each being a blowout. Watch how this drive chart unfolds, and notice the three distinct streaks during the game. Very interesting how the game seemed to turn on a dime, twice. One other thing I hadn't noticed: Miami's second-to-last drive of regulation ended in a very short missed field goal. I complained about the defense having 91 yards to stop them on the final drive, when I just realized that they actually had 92 yards to stop them on the prior drive, and only held with about 4 yards to go.
