Perkins to start at B-Back in Blacksburg (Updated)

Until today Perkins had sunk to 3rd string behind Sims and Laskey. Sims remains less than 100% healthy, and Laskey reportedly didn't perform as well this week in practice. Perkins' main knock had been that he "does not define hard work the same" as the coaching staff (but he reportedly had the best week of practice of the group.) Snoddy should see reps as a backup, while Laskey could see time rotating with Perkins. To many fans, this will be Perkins' chance to show that he's got what it takes to play B-back. Perkins has size, Laskey has instinct, Snoddy has speed - they will all run behind an O-line that is strong in the middle. Here's hoping for the best! Go Jackets!
