PUNISH "DA U" ALREADY!!!
Nice to have John Swofford in your corner, even though the infractions you committed are, I don't know, infinitely more reflective of gaining a competitive advatage than say...$312 of still-tagged and returned sports apparel from a family member. Given the allegations of the benefits given to players from Nevin Shapiro, as well as the known recruiting violations mentioned in this story, it stands to reason that if the University of Miami can't play by the recruiting rules it needs fewer scholarships to reinforce those rules. But of course, the ACC will never punish UNC harshly for academic violations (which foster a competitive advantage) or Miami for recruiting and financial violations (which foster a competitive advantage)...they go after Georgia Tech because it's AD and HC had the balls to call a spade a spade.
