I was working at Bell Labs in the 70's and a colleague invited me to use one of his tickets to a concert at the Jersey Shore. I had never seen Bruce Springsteen live. Born to Run had jumped to the top of the charts and he was suddenly a star. And I was hooked. His songs connected with my blue collar background in a way the Beatles never did.
On my way back from the Bonnie Raitt concert this week we had his new CD on and playing louder than usual. There is never a bad time for these songs from the new album. Not sure how I missed the second video in the original post.
