"He spent eight seasons at Toledo, his alma mater, and the Rockets had a winning record each year he was on the coaching staff. Walkosky worked in several capacities with the Rockets — handling linebackers, defensive backs and special teams at various times — and Toledo won six division titles, two Mid-American Conference championships and appeared in four bowl games during this period. In 2006, Toledo’s defence allowed the fewest points and fewest yards in the conference. In 2003, when Walkosky was handling special teams, the Rockets were third in the nation in punt returns and fifth in net punting."
