Matt Cashore-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
With so many Top 25 teams losing this past weekend (9 to be exact), this week's poll is even more confusing than last week's.
As previously mentioned on this site, this year is looking more and more like 2010, when there were between 8-12 teams who were pretty darn good, and everyone else pretty much sucked in different capacities. That's relevant here because deciding how much different teams suck is a lot of the battle in creating a poll. If you want mathematical/statistical evidence, look at the pattern in SD (standard deviation): the top 7 have a relatively small standard deviation, where it just explodes after that.
Now I'm curious, readers. Who is duping us all, looking good but is actually pretty crappy? Who is a lot better than they look right now? Who is going to be surprisingly good at season's end?
