Tomlinson has made his decision...

...and won't tell anyone. Not even his coach or family. He will announce his choice between Alabama, Georgia Tech, and uga next Wednesday morning at 8:30am on Good Day Atlanta. Here's to hoping it's the Jackets!.

If the DT that is visiting the Flats...

receives an offer this weekend, then it’s probably an indication that Mr. Tomlinson will be going elsewhere on signing day. I certainly hope that he does decide to attend GT, but with all of this last minute intrigue, CPJ has to get players that want to go to school here otherwise we are left an open offer and no player for that slot. I wish Mr. Tomlinson all the best no matter where he decides to attend next Wednesday.

I don’t think offering Neiderreither affects Tomlinson’s decision one way or another. Tech has 3-4 spots left (depending on the Crawford situation) and has one reserved for Tomlinson. Tomlinson is obviously the better prospect at this point, and will most likely get PT next year as a true Freshman if he signs here.

(Coaches often use playing early as a selling point, lots of times falsely, but I have to think with our current depth and inexperience the D-Line will be a free-for-all next year)
