Good analysis, expecially of the defense
The last two times NC got the ball it was primarily because Paul Johnson became rather conservative on offense. Normally on fourth and a yard he would go for it. Normally he would not have Washington roll out wide simply to use up clock while taking a big loss. Normally he would try to control his own destiny rather than simply playing not to lose and hoping the other team cannot rise to the challenge offensively when he is forced to punt.
But this may mean something good. Maybe Paul Johnson realizes this defense is for real and can be counted on to win games.

I'm in agreement on that one...
as CPJ has become so used to having outscore everyone that this was a learning experience for him and now he understands that the “D” can get it done in the 4th quarter. Now the offense does not to have to carry the extra burden of winning a game by being the last to score every game going forward. This is huge for CPJ!
