Georgia Tech Football Video: Orwin Smith 95 Yard Touchdown Run
I watch this and I smile. The Kansas Jayhawks defense had no idea.

Watch, smile, watch, smile, watch, smile, repeat the pattern
Here is what else I notice. Number 33 has containment. The rest of the defense is stacked to the other side. As the ball is snapped he almost instantly begins to run to where the strength of the defense is leaving nobody left for the counter. When he realizes he has been had he overcompensates the other way and gets blocked. Talk about being undressed in front of thousands of people. Even I am embarrassed. But that is what Paul Johnson does to opposing players and coaches on a fairly routine basis.

95 yards in 11 seconds
That’s pretty good in pads = 4.63 forty time.
I write stuff From the Rumble Seat.
Everybody executed
You can see Kansas follow the motion, and Coach Johnson said they would. You can see the guard and tackle pull and try to find someone to block. At the very bottom you can see Hill take out his corner, and you can see Smith slow down a little to maneuver the other corner into Melton.
That’s just beautiful.
The playside DE crashes right into the middle of the OL
It’s like he blocks himself.
That play is pretty.
