He looks like a 3-4 OLB to me
He’s good on the edge. I’m not sure what his height and weight is, but he looks a little too small to play DE in the 3-4…also he ran past the tackle on most of those plays instead of standing him up (which is what a two-gapping 3-4 lineman must do). Another thing, he ran past the pocket and had to come back. That won’t work in college.
Does Georgia Tech even use a 2-gap system???
Not all 3-4 defenses are the same. I’d rather that our DE’s would play 1-gap and be able to rush the quarterback more easily. I’m not for sure but that’s what I’ve heard.

I'm 99% positive that Tech uses a two-gap 3-4
One-gap 3-4’s are rare, and the players that were successful in Groh’s UVA teams were excellent 2-gap players (see Chris Long). If you can find something that indicates that Groh runs a one-gap 3-4, let me know because it’s rare, and I never noticed that during games last season.
Wade Philips runs a 1-gap 3-4 defense.
But I have no idea what Georgia Tech uses.

It's 2-gap.
UGA and Alabama run 1-gap, Groh runs 2-gap.

I'd rather he run a 1-gap.
I think that would utilize guys like Izzan Cross so much better.

Stays after the play
but does tend to overrun plays and get out of position. As acedarney put it, that won’t work in college. I would have liked to have seen some film in which he was double teamed on the line. I would not necessarily have been looking for him to blow past the double team but just to see if he kept them occupied while either holding the line or pushing the pile.

Good Motor
Quick googling discovered that Jordan is 5’10", 196 lbs and will be entering his junior season this year. Not sure how accurate the height/weight is but if he hits the weight room hard he could grow into another Julian Burnett-style inside LB. He does need to work on staying in position, but I like how he tackles and gets after the play. Personally I really prefer guys that are mean and get excited. You need guys like that on defense. It’d be interesting to find out about his measurables, I hope he attends GT’s junior camp this summer so we can find out more. He’s got some work to do, but looks like a D-1 prospect depending on how he develops his game.
If he's still a sophomore
he’s got time to grow. However, Jon Dwyer was only 6’0", so he may not get much taller. You really want an OLB to be in the 6’3" range…but you’re right about Burnett, who is small. We’ll need to see how he matures through high school.
Agreed
Early opinion is he looks to have some potential. Clearly there is some development that needs to take place before he can be labeled as a sure-fire recruit. I’m rooting for him and would not be oposed to recruiting him because we need more depth anyway.
