This fanpost about possible players starting and backing up on the 3-4 Defensive line that Tech uses.

Next year, I think we obviously have our starting NT in T. J. Barnes. He's huge at 6'7" 330 lbs. and will improve his technique in order to anchor our D-line successfully. Backups for NT could be J.C. Lanier and Logan Walls.

Izzan Cross will start at one of the DE spots, but the other DE position could get tricky. A lot of NFL 3-4 teams have DT's playing in the 3-4 DE position, so guys like Lanier and Walls could start there. Our run defense was bad again last year and having more size up front would really help.

I wasn't able to watch very many Tech games last year but our pass rush seemed non-existent at times. Hopefully we will get a better push up front next year to not only improve our run defense but to also improve our pass rush.

Also, I'm not for sure if Logan Walls is a Senior or a Junior. Feel free to comment and add ideas to this post.
