Tech was led by Kammeon Holsey with 21 points followed up by Daniel Miller and Jason Morris with 13 and 12 points respectively. Tech shot 5 of 14 from beyond the arc and outrebounded the Hornets 40:21. Miller had a double-double with 15 boards. Trivia: The Hornets are one of the other five Division I invertebrate mascots in America along with Richmond, Alabama State, and UC Santa Barbara.
