Georgia Tech vs. Clemson: Everyone Remembers 2004 And Calvin Johnson. But What About 2000 And Kerry Watkins?
Before there was Calvin Johnson and Reggie Ball there was George Godsey and Kerry Watkins. It was the original "The Catch"
Classic Wes Durham excitement. Where were you when this happened?
Does anybody synch of radio broadcasts with the TV? Do any FTRS'ers wear headphones in the stadium just to listen to the radio?

I was not a Georgia Tech fan yet. I didn’t start following Tech football until I enrolled in 2002 (gosh, seems like just yesterday). I got there just when it started getting exciting, I guess. FYI, that last statement contains sarcasm.
My freshman year…, I was at visiting UNC for a friends birthday and was in a freshman chick’s dorm room. I was the only one awake watching the game under a bunk bed. I went ape shit as soon as that catch happened… as quietly as I could. :)
2004, I was at the Clemson game and half my friends had already walked out thinking we would lose. I remember watching Tech score something like 21 pts in the last 5 mins or so of the game. EPIC!

I love Wes, I finally got this radio so I can sync up the TV with the Radio.

Unfortunately Dec 99 – Jan 01 ended up being pretty much a black hole in sports for me as the only games they showed were the pro sports playoffs and championships, no college games. I had to read about it online and then try watching it when I returned to the states long after it happened.
That doesn’t make it any less of an amazing catch though.
