Anthony Allen racks up 20 all purpose yards in Senior Bowl
Allen caught a pass for 5 yards and ran 4 times for 15 yards. Other ACC standouts in the Senior Bowl included Christian Ponder (149 all purpose yards) and Leonard Hankerson (100 all purpose yards).

The thing is
…they used Allen as a true fullback. He was the lead blocker for much of the game. I would have liked to see him carry the ball a little more, but that’s where they opted to use him. Who knows, that could be a very good position for him in the NFL as long as he learns to block effectively. He could be the best NFL-caliber GT fullback since Mike Cox.
