In Which Our Kansas Jayhawks Opponents Teach Us How To Clap

First, watch this video and get your laughs out of the way. WHAT NERDS! WHO DOES THIS AND WHO CARES?!

Now, sit back and think the last time you were at a Georgia Tech sporting event. Did you clap in tune with anyone near you? Were there even two people clapping in synch together? Probably not. Let's be honest, us engineers may be good at math and numbers and stuff but we sure are uncoordinated and cannot keep a beat.

So here's the question that closes out the week. If Georgia Tech made a clapping video, would you try to learn the "proper method" of clapping to our fight song?

BTW: clapping for GT goes *Clap* *Clap* *Clap Clap Clap*

No I would not. I make noise, that's all that matters.

Our clapping isn't that bad.

I think the crowd does a great job of clapping to “Ramblin’ Wreck,” although I will admit that people can screw up “Up with the White and Gold” if the band changes tempo to finish before the game resumes.

To HELL with georgia!

Wow and I thought we would be the nerdy school in this matchup.

How ‘bout you just figure it out without the retarded video instructions? That’s how I did it….

I'd clap along...

If they brought back “Differentials Y, Differentials X”; and Dixie at Halftime.

Kansas also one of the only schools

to call out other schools in their fight song.

(Honestly, after learning about them because of the Orange Bowl, I have a lot of respect for GT’s unique blend of smart and “fuck you, we are who we are damnit” in your football culture.)

I have the same fashion sense as Tom Arnold.

We like to sing about Whiskey, Rum

Budweiser, and taking an axe to somebody’s head.

That "Differential Y, Differential X, to hell with differentials"

cheer came from the cheerleaders, oddly enough. I think it’s the only good thing they ever came up with. They aren’t doing it any more?

Holy cow I am at a loss for words with the video.

Wow

that’s a pretty confusing fight song… No wonder their football has never won anything… ever.
