Unfortunately the baseball stats on the USA Today website do not include signing bonuses because I know for a fact that Matt Wieters' signing bonus was $6 million. Either way, here's the average salary of a lot Tech's baseballers since basically 1989:

If you go to beesball.com and look at the “June Draft Status” link under each year they have included the signing bonuses of the players drafted under each year. It appears they only recorded back to 2001 though. Included in that was Tex’s 9.5 million signing bonus…. dang
