GT faces VT in the first game of the ACC Tournament tonight at 8:00PM. Television is FS South. Radio is WREK 91.1.

Was at the game. The VT kid pitched outstanding. Tech was way aggressive at the plate and his steady mix of offspeed stuff gave the Jackets fits. A team with a pitcher who can throw strikes on offspeed pitches is going to be tough for Tech to handle in the NCAAs.

What sucks most is that Tech is pretty much out of the picture for Sunday. I think the only scenario that works now is 2 GT, wins and 2 VT losses, which would leave Tech with the tiebreaker vs. NC State.
