We here at FTRS consider ourselves to be fans who appreciate all athletes of Georgia Tech. With that, we say CONGRATULATIONS SOFTBALL!
Over the weekend, the Jackets literally pummeled the ACC competition into the ground as they outscored their opponents by a combined score of 25-4. ACC Freshman of the Year Hope Rush received ACC Tournament MVP.
The good news continues as Tech received a National Top 8 seed (#8) yesterday evening and will host Oregon, Auburn and Jacksonville State for the Regionals round of the NCAA Tournament. If and when the Jackets advance to the Super Regionals they will be eligible for home field advantage as well and will face the winner out of the Colombia, Missouri bracket.
