I commend Block-C for calling out the ridiculousness of Christian Ponder being a Heisman candidate. I am going to go the extra mile and call the whole ad a blatant rip off of my Duke Open Thread cartoon from last November:
Come on FSU! At least send us some Bobby Bowden t-shirts for the idea that you ripped off.

I don’t think making a football player giant is all that unique of an idea, so your argument probably won’t hold up in any court of law.
Christian Ponder
He is certainly a viable Heisman “dark-horse” contender, he led the ACC in offense until he was hurt and if you watched FSU play last year it was evident he made that offense go. And with 9 of 11 starters back and the entire offensive line returning I would put him on any top 5 pre-season list.
Ponder = Modern Joe Hamilton
Great offense, terrible defense will lose him the Heisman. FSU will lose at least 3 games they shouldn’t this year because of the D (even with a new DC).
With no powers, comes no responsibility.
FSU's Defense
I think the FSU defense will improve this year. They’ve put a lot of energy into recruiting star defensive players over the past few years, and it should start paying off. I don’t disagree with you that their defense is the weaker side for 2010, but it should not be terrible.
Will it result in Ponder losing the Heisman though? Probably.

2. Some of our fans our really not getting the fun here. You have been like a light for the moths, the moths in this case being the FSU fans that cant get the joke. Anyway, that thread gets a nice little bump every other day.
