It's a great day to be Tech Alum & a Titans fan!!!!
"Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless" - Kenny Powers
yeah, I wasn’t sure what he was getting at either. Sounded like he was kind of taking a shot at Beybey’s character with the Brandon Marshal comparison. I’m not sure where that was coming from
He wasn't taking a shot at Bebe at all.
The point he was making was how ridiculous it was for the Broncos to trade away Brandon Marshall and then draft Thomas because he reminded them of Brandon Marshall. It’s no doubt a good draft pick, I think the point was just that Josh McDaniels runs off anyone with whom he doesn’t agree (regardless of talent), so Bebe should hope that he and McDaniels get along.

Yeah after a few more minutes I realized what he was trying to say. He just said it in a somewhat backwards way.
Steve Young
is just an angry person and can come off as an ass when he means well.
Features of the Perfect Car: 201 cubic inch displacement, 40 horsepower, 3.77:1 drive ratio, single barrel carburetor, top speed of 65 mph
Well that’s just it. McDaniels may have disagreed with Brandon Marshal, but he didn’t disagree with what Marshal brought to the field. I don’t get why Steve Young was perplexed that they brought in a big play making wide receiver (like Marshal) sans all the baggage. Seems like a logical draft choice for a position they needed to fill.
plus Bay Bay
will be cheaper based on Marshall’s new mega contract
Features of the Perfect Car: 201 cubic inch displacement, 40 horsepower, 3.77:1 drive ratio, single barrel carburetor, top speed of 65 mph
I don't think Young was perplexed as why they drafted Thomas,
I think he was just confused as to why they traded him in the first place, only to draft someone just like him (granted without the baggage). I think that if McDaniels is going to be successful, he’s going to have to learn how to work with players on a professional level, regardless of personal feelings. If he could’ve managed the Brandon Marshall situation successfully, Denver could have used their first round draft pick on another position of need, rather than trying to replace a player they just traded away because of a bad relationship.
