Do we finish 7th in the standings no matter what? If we lose and BC wins do we have the tie breaker to stay 7th? What if we win and Wake loses? Who has the tiebreaker to be sixth?

I’m no hoops coach & I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn but when you fail to fight over the top of the screener or switch & consistently GO BEHIND the screener, leaving the shooter open, even marginal ACC players can hit 3’s with open looks. But what do I know??

What the heck was up with the lack of fan-participation in this game? Where was the cheering? The only time I heard anything was when there was a bad call.

It’s extremely difficult to be excited about the product our coach is putting on the floor. I’ve been a diehard Tech basketball fan for pretty much my whole life and I just can’t get myself motivated to do a whole lot of cheering unless something extraordinary is happening (last couple minutes, big plays, horrible calls). Paul Hewitt is not only creating a lot of empty seats in AMC, but is also sucking the energy out of those that actually show up.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking about that. It seems if he’s drawing the life out of the arena. Even the students have been subdued all season, I don’t know if that’s a product of the students themselves or the season as a whole.
