Wow

Where was the free throw shooting all year long?? 24-25!!! Had a tinge of 2004 in there. We pounded it down low like we should have been doing all year. If we could keep feeding the bigs and our guard play continues to develop—-yeah that would be awesome. Go Tech.

If I may play the Devil's advocate,

They were still unable to get the ball inbounds late, coming off a time out, and had to call another time out.

I only got to watch the last two minutes (with no sound) and listen to 11:00 to about 4:00 (thank you, Sirius), but it sounds as if the defensive strategy worked. If so, I give Hewitt credit for that. The free-throw shooting was the players.

I agree—I don’t get what’s so hard about inbounding the ball—something the team has needed to work on for a while. BUT—-our ft shooting % was the 2nd highest EVER in an NCAA tournament game at 96%. Only Texas in 2007 shot higher @ 96.2%. Can you believe that?
