Maryland Open Thread!

Submit comments with positive energy that can be fed to our team via psycho-electrical waves on the internet all the way to Greensboro into the speakers of Greensboro Coliseum and into the subconscious of our team. We need good qi. The entire State of Maryland is riding a wave of bad qi following the destruction of College Park post Duke victory.

We channeled Will Bynum last night. Today we must channel Jarrett Jack.

Give us your qi Jarrett.

I spun around... and there I was, face-to-face with a six-year old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away. Little bastard shot me in the ass.

Maybe

But I called or Miller to start from the beginning and I have to think some of our early losses might have been prevented if we had.

Is one decent inbounds play

too much to ask for? Do they never practice that?

by CraigT on Mar 12, 2010 9:02 PM EST reply actions

MD is a lot smarter about their physical play.

Instead of chopping at the ball, they rake it away from the ball handler. They don’t slide on screens, instead they take a wider stance, and stick out their knees.

ummm...

I sure as hell hope we haven’t run out of people to channel for the semis. After Will and JJ I’m not sure where to turn…BJ?

Are you a LION or a GAZELLE?

Thunda From Down Unda

Luke Schensher( forgive me if the spelling is wrong). He played on the national champs runner-up team, and i think the year after that as well. I’ve heard a bit about him in the NBA, but hes probably in the D-League

Schenscher is easy to remember the spelling

Just remember “schen”, replace the the n with a r for “scher”

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
