Baseball continues its winning ways...

The Georgia Tech baseball team finished a sweep of the Georgia Southern Eagles yesterday winning  8-5 yesterday in Statesboro thanks to an offense powered by Jacob Esch and Tony Plagman. The Jackets won the first game of the 2-game series 10-0 behind stellar pitching performances by Mark Pope and Luke Bard.

Currently the Jackets are ranked in the Top-10 in every poll, as high as #2 and as low as #8.

Next Game: vs. Xavier for a 3-game weekend series. Last week, the TOP 10 Jackets ranked 28TH in attendance. Surely, we can do better!

and only a handful of games have been played, but a team AVG. of 369 and ERA of 1.60 is pretty damn impressive.

Agreed

We’ve typically dominated early in the out-of-conference schedule. Let’s just hope they can carry that level of play into the ACC schedule.
