Beesball takes Missouri State to the woodshed
Just as the weather was getting miserable, baseball season opened up and for three days, the weather was 65 degrees, sunny, and perfect. The Tech bats didn't need any more warming up....
Over the series, the Jackets accounted for 45 hits, 8 of which were moonshot home runs. The Bears were clearly out manned, out gunned, and just exhausted from the barrage by the end of the weekend after scores of 4-0, 20-3, and 13-0.
Friday proved to be the most competitive matchup as Missouri State started their 3rd team All-American pitcher, Aaron Meade who only gave up 2 runs on Friday in 5 innings of work but that was the best they could put up.
Defensively, the Jackets were solid, committing only 2 errors over the weekend. Starters and backups all got work. Roddy Jones continues to be a crowd favorite as he shows off his fundamentally sound ways of properly backing up and always hustling. Our starting pitchers were all solid as they worked their innings in and began to get their arms in prime condition.
....oh and Danny Hall won his 900th game on Saturday. So in summary, pretty darn good weekend of baseball!

hmmm
I need to decide which home series I want to attend this year and take the boys up. They should enjoy that.

Clemson without a doubt.
That series is going to be the biggest home series of the year. If you had one series to go to, that series is the one.

Yeah, that's always a good one
