What a game

Tough loss. Can’t believe Maryland made that half court AND the buzzer beater there at the end.

I didn't until

that last time out and the 1.5 seconds on the clock. Then I thought we would win. I was wrong.

You all played an absolutely great game. I would not be surprised to see you win out (and win the tournament). Play like that, you beat any team on a neutral court.

That is the lesson from this game

But I was encouraged a bit with Hewitt’s words afterword:

“We did everything you’re supposed to do against a team that’s better than anybody in our league with the exception of Duke,” Hewitt said. “I think we’re on the verge of something big.”

So we go 20-10 8-8 in the ACC? big deal..in the end its what you do in the tourney’s and if the team is playing well at this point then that is more important than going 24-6 but flopping in the tourney’s….of course we first need to make a run in the ACC tourney

wow.

The college football season is so fragile. It's like a glass ball being pushed around from stadium to stadium by a rhinoceros.

Favors had a very nice game....

but Maryland’s front court is atrocious. Evidence: not a week ago BRIAN ZOUBEK had 16 points & 17 boards against them. Brian Zoubek! He’s just barely more mobile than the Statue of Liberty. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad Favors stepped & he played a terrific game. Hope he’s got a few more like that in him.
