Marbury needs to hang 'em up

There was a time long, long again when Stephon Marbury was actually a killer on the court. Those days are long gone.

But unlike his killer instinct, Marbury's insatiable need to prove to everyone he's the No.1 player is alive and well. That's why he's in China playing basketball even after the NBA humbled him. Well, maybe not humbled. Proved to the world how crazy he actually is.

Well his first game in China went about as well as you'd expect. He put up ok numbers (15 points, 4 bourdsa, 8 assists and 4 steals) but he went 0-for-6 from behind the arc and when it mattered most he passed the ball off t a teammate for the game-winning shot.

When you're passing up the opportunity to win the game for you team, you should probably stop playing altogether. There's no need to try and prove to everyone that you're the best Stephon. We all know you're not.

Sad

I remember watching him play in the thriller dome against Virginia. He had an extra gear compared to the other players on the court. Do you think staying in college might have improved his maturity? What a waste. He could have been one of the best.

He's still making several hundred k/year

I wouldn’t retire with that kind of money rolling in.

I guess the atmosphere that I've tried to create here is that I'm a friend first and a boss second, and probably an entertainer third.

Everybody ages and the production will drop as a consequence

He was a very good player in his prime but that is past….it happens
