While a loss wouldn't be the end of the world
A win would do wonders for our tourney chances.

Game report
Just got back from the game. First chance I’ve had to see the Jackets in person this season. A few thoughts:
Udofia isn’t ready for the ACC. Stood around on offense every trip down the floor. At least Hewitt had enough sense to sit him in the second half.
Schumpert fouls constantly on both ends of the floor. Tries to use his size to shove everyone around. If the refs called 1/4 of the stuff he did he’d be out by halftime every game.
Favors’ footwork is weak. Should be a one and done, but will be anyway.
Oliver is lights out shooting the three but has no ball-handling ability.
My wife (who is not a b’ball fan) commented on Lawal: “How come every time he touches the ball he does something stupid – kicks it off his foot, throws it away”. Not a good game for Gani.
One game closer to Hewitt getting the axe.
when is it
okay to start wishing ur team to lose so the coach will get fired?

I'll never want them to lose
but I still would like to see a new coach.
Maybe they can have such a great run someone wants to hire him away.
Win/Win Situation
It’s more relaxing watching Tech games right now. If they win, I’m happy they won. If they lose, I’m happy it’s one more nail in Hewitt’s coffin.
???Question Marks???
Who woul have thought a GT team would ever shooting 80% from the line in a game with more than 5 FT attempts? Who thought when Lawal went 7-10 from the line and Mo Miller chips in 12 points off the bench the jackets would lose? This one was a weird one. Shump looked like he had never dribbled a basketball with someone guarding him, Udofia still has a ton to catching up to do. And I know favors cant get into foul trouble but that doesnt mean just get out of their way when they have a layout there is a way to contest it without fouling them. I still cant get over how well we shot the ball from beyond 15 feet and how poorly it was inside 15 feet. 10-25 from 3 and 9-30 from inside the arc?
All four of their big men had 3 fouls with 12 mins to go… We went inside what once after that time? Inside to DF and then the other time he scored it was a loose ball/rebound situation wasnt it?
This team showed me tonight that it does have depth that I wasnt sure if we had with Mo and Rice playing so well tonight. But holy cow the starters looked like crap. I think GAni is a great player but with regards to EE’s comment he is a black hole. He has to be cause we only get him the ball one out of every 9 trips down the court. Hewitt should have the offense run through him everytime down the court and teach him how to sense/feel/see double teams and find his teammates especially when Zach is on the floor and there can be four 3 point threats.
Just my thoughts on the game
Im not
necessarily rooting for them to lose but….idk…. I just want Hewitt out

Udofia has regressed...and he has finally been benched
Moe Miller should get the start as he played much better but he’s still a turnover machine.
As a Hewitt supporter I am now finding myself losing confidence in his ability to win. This team has too much talent to lose to a team like Miami…
The fact this team has a hard time inbounding the ball drives me nuts. If this team does get knocked out of both tourney’s early I will join those looking for Hewitt’s exit.
I blog the Carolina Panthers at www.catscratchreader.com
regressed may be strong
He’s just hit his first wall aka ACC Ball. Better guards in conference than out of conference. I agree Mo should be starting along with Peacock. We need something to jump start this slumping team.
I spun around... and there I was, face-to-face with a six-year old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away. Little bastard shot me in the ass.
Let's cut it and see if it still bleeds
Cause personally, I’m starting to feel like it’s dead.
