FTRS' Ballot For The 2010 Postseason Blogger Awards
The guys over at Bull Run are putting together the Postseason Blogger Awards. Why let the mainstream media have all the fun? We've included our nominees (mostly top-3) and the links go to the respective awards' finalists/semi-finalists. Should you think you have an argument, let us know in the comments.
Heisman - Most Outstanding Player (Finalists not yet listed)
We nominated Cameron Newton. Should you have any beef with this pick, let us know. NIck Fairly, Auburn
This guy has put together a dominant season. I would say that he’s the best defensive player in college football.
and maybe some of the most satisfying hits in college football too!
Or at least for a Tech fan. ;-)

Gabe Carimi for Outland
UW’s line has dominated this year. All three of their RB’s have great numbers.
Do see Dr. Saturday’s post on him? It was accompanied by a video of him dominating Iowa’s Adrian Clayborn. Enough to convince me.
From Walk On DT to All ACC...
Center the last 2 seasons, Sean Bedford is everything that makes college football great coupled with his academic studies that most folks can’t even spell. He should be the Rimington Award winner based on his achievments on both the field and classroom. Just a great example of an outstanding college football player and Yellow Jacket!
Everbody loves some home cooking.
Throw at least one vote GT’s way. Vote for Bedford.

Shoe Lace Robinson
It’s unfortunate that Michigan is having such a crappy year because Dernard Robinson is putting up some pretty ridiculous numbers. He is 2nd in the nation in rushing with 1,643 yards and has passed for 2,316 yards. He has thrown 16 TDs and rushed for 14 more. It’s too bad that Heisman voters don’t even look at teams that are not in the hunt for the NC (ie CJ Spiller in 09). I’m not saying Robinson is better than Cam but he at least deserves a trip to New York.
I was hoping someone else would say it
but we faced the best receiver in the country this past weekend. Those other guys are just battling for second place.
suspension for 3 games hurts
Dez Bryant was the best receiver last year but he got his season cut short. I don’t think anyone found guilty of cheating deserves an award.
I write stuff From the Rumble Seat.
I can understand that
I still think he’s the best.
J.J. Watt-D Line, Wisconsin
The isolation camera work on him during the Ohio State game leads me to believe that he is a monster of speed, hands, technique, and size. The other guys on that line: Louis Nzegwu and David Gilbert are also off the hook good.
