The good news is
Tech’s only down by two touchdowns at the half.
Surely it can’t get worse.
Clemson's first touchdown had two key blocks
one involved grabbing a face mask
and the other involved holding a jersey.

We need a touchdown out of halftime or we're cooked.
Also, WTF STEPHEN HILL. YOU DO NOT CATCH BALL WITH FACE DERP.
It's not the defense
as bad as it is. What I can’t figure out is why Tech looks panicky on offense. Lots of teams, whether Alabama, Oregon, Boise State or whoever, have plays for no gain or a loss. Tech has one and then they seem to fall apart. If the offense performed better the defense would not be on the field for so long.

But about the defense . . .
I think I read on this blog once that we discourage naming players when it comes to criticism. That’s a good idea. These are just kids. They are not pros. Having said that I could name two defensive players who between them allowed 21 points. In one case a player was totally out of position. In the other two cases it was poor tackling.

Poor Tackling
Some a-hole caught that this week and spread it throughout the team. Arm tackle after arm tackle and not once did I see CAG or CPJ get in anyone’s face on defense about it. If the coaches are content with poor form, then how can we expect the players to perform better?
"Everybody talks about SEC speed. The 27 fastest guys at the (NFL) combine, how many of them were from the SEC? Three. But if you say it enough, everybody will believe it."
-CPJ
"You could spend the next fifteen seconds of your life watching a man and a tiger scream together, or you could be an idiot."
Fact.

a certain CB
really let Ellington walk into the end zone on that 8 yard TD reception
I write stuff From the Rumble Seat.
If that is the play I think you are
talking about that then that is the play where a certain linebacker was way out of position. There was supposed to be help on that play not one defensive player isolated one on one in space against a skill player.
