Even though he didn't graduate

it was fun seeing Jimmy Carter open the pregame show.

I was in the Tit when he got his honorary degree. We were searched by stereotypical Secret Service agents going in.

It just happened to be his first appearance after the Shah of Iran was overthrown, so it got a lot more coverage than anticipated.

Why are a bunch of Iowa fans on

a Tech board?

They do have a point though: there is no scheme adjustment for handling the DEs (who are just killing the offense) and if they had a magical one, they would have come up with it by now.

That being said, the Tech fans are right also. Iowa should be up by 21 and the fact they aren’t could come back to haunt them.

easy cowboy. one comment does not a troll make.

Tech had a great season and should be proud of its accomplishments, especially given how quickly the turnaround has occurred. The program may not have arrived all the way, but it’s heading in the right direction.

Defense wins championships. CPJ + defense = really good team. CPJ without the defense = strong competitor in the ACC. If he can build a defense without stepping back on offensive talent, Tech could be great.

It seems more likely that “troll” just means “commenter I don’t like.” From a fan of a hard science school, such subjective reality as “calling ’em how you see ’em” is unexpected.

In any event, I intended no offense. UGA put on a clinic of how to play bad football and frustrate fans this year, fostering a sense of critical irony in dawg fans everywhere. Forgive me for assuming that the same existed here.

Reading through this thread

Is just an amazing study in complete reality-denial. There’s one thing to be a fan. It’s another entirely to ignore objective reality. The latter is what occurs around here. Which is shocking given the usual standards by the proprietors of this blog. It’s clear that when the FTRS “adults” are away, the mindless message board denizens take over. If you can’t see what happened in this game, then I am truly sorry for you because you have nothing but a lifetime of disappointment and/or delusional rationalizations awaiting you.
