Still no

Great win for sure, but it shouldn’t take ten seasons to get a win at Carolina. Overall, still only one winning season (9-7) in the conference in nine years. If we end up 10-6 or better I will reconsider.

you realize

SHF was 4 years of the drought…

I guess the atmosphere that I've tried to create here is that I'm a friend first and a boss second, and probably an entertainer third.

Not sure what SHF is

Hewitt was 0-8 in Chapel Hill. I realize that the since 96 streak (12 straight) includes 4 losses for Cremins. My point was simply that Hewitt hadn’t won in his nine previous seasons.

still no

A road win is a positive, but UNC is young and very rough and we were up by 20 at one point. Focusing on the negatives, yes but I’m afraid of getting burnt again. I am afraid of getting burned again.

The college football season is so fragile. It's like a glass ball being pushed around from stadium to stadium by a rhinoceros.

No they aren't

They don’t have nearly the same team they did last year.

Absolutely No

Anyone who says yes is basing their answer on the outcome of one game, not on the body of work. Look at 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Then try and justify answering yes.

because our talent Tech has proved we have talent to beat the big boys but doesn’t have the coaching to be consistent. In the UNC game Hewitt called 3 or 4 timeouts in the last 6 minutes of the game and still wasn’t able to slow down UNC.

No

Coaching is the only reason why we lose two games so far in the ACC. He simply cannot get the troops up and ready to play if we arent playing the big boys. THe way to win the ACC is to beat the teams your supposed to and possibly steal a game or there and your in the mix. Losing at home to an FSU team that doesnt have an identity yet to start the ACC schedule is just plain terrible. No excuse for it.

The thing that pisses me off the most is Hewitts inbounds plays. All teams have inbounds plays when you have the ball underneath the other teams basket where you should get a good looking shot whether a layup or an open three. But hewitts team its throw it the length of the court to our big man and pray that we still have the ball.

There's really no excuses for losses to UGA in basketball.

....

If Hewitt wants to keep his job, he better win the ACC and make the final rounds in the tourny… THATS THE ONLY WAY HE CAN/WILL KEEP HIS JOB!

anything

less…. is unacceptable! its time for a change!

I can't, in good faith, vote yes

Show me some consistency against both the best and worst of teams, then I’ll gladly go back to supporting CPH. Until then, I feel like these big wins are only setting us all up for a huge letdown later in the year.

We're back to .500

We won a close road game, which is something we’ve rarely done under Hewitt. As long as we pick up another road win and don’t drop anymore at home, we should have a good seed in both tournaments. The biggest test of that is tomorrow night, where we should find out how the rest of our season will go. Beat a good Clemson team, and we can expect a good remainder of the season. Lose tomorrow night, and we’ll be in for a classic CPH roller coaster. Regardless of how the season turns out, as long as our team continues to get up for tough opponents we should be in good shape during the tournaments.
