Blogpoll GT Vote Breakdown
Above is a map of the United States broken down by which blogs voted favorably for GT or unfavorably in CBS' BlogPoll. The blogs' college affiliations were then transposed onto their respective home states (e.g. Bowling Green, Toledo, and Ohio State = Ohio). Then, I took the average of each blog from the states and separated them into percentiles.
The top 25 percentile favoring GT were the Yellow States (all along the East Coast). The bottom 25 percentile that hated GT were the red states. Interestingly enough, the haters were all along the Central Time Zone, which doesn't surprise me after our terrible showing against LSU. Brown states represent states in the bottom 25-50 percentile range while blue states are states in the top 25-50 percentile. So in short: yellow states love GT, blue states like GT, brown states dislike GT, and red states hate GT.
Finally, GT's rank of 14 in the blogpoll may or may not be very accurate. Whoever did the calculations had some typos and counted two or three blogs twice. Also, the states of Washington and Arizona have votes but chose not to participate in the preseason blogpoll.
Sorry for late post today. I was at a combustible dust conference in Columbia.

This map
Is kinda irrelevant since I live in Oklahoma.
A bullhorn, a bottle of whiskey and a dream. GobblerCountry.com
that's true
I guess your ACC bias may be downplayed by your Southwestern locale but in general I think most people’s conference affiliations will play out in their balloting.
